- Harvard Pilgrim requires us to have your doctor's order for your medical record.
- If you have the MD prescription, bring it to your appointment
- If you do not have your prescription, have your doctor fax it to us at 781-329-2207

Do you have a deductible?
- Be aware that your deductible begins again with each new plan year. For some, this will be January 1, for others this will be based on the plan year established by your employer.
- If you have a deductible, you will pay your co-payment at the time of your visit as usual. When Harvard Pilgrim lets us know the balance due, we will bill you for your deductible amount.
Do you have a joint Harvard Pilgrim/United Plan?
- Your evaluation can proceed as listed above
- Authorization of therapy sessions is done through United, which has different authorization restrictions from Harvard Pilgrim.
- Coverage is generally limited to disorders due to explicit injury or physical abnormality. Therefore, many childhood speech disorders and voice conditions are excluded from coverage
- There may be a delay in starting treatment while we attempt to obtain authorization for your treatment
